About Me

Hi! My name is Shih-Ting, Yuan. I like to simplify my life but I also always complicate things. I’m passionate about discovering new things and engaging in thoughtful discussions.

I currently work as a cloud support engineer at AWS in Ireland. I assist our customers with Linux, networking and container services. I specialize in Linux, networking, and container services, helping customers navigate configuration, performance, and unexpected issues to achieve growth together.

Besides handling daily cases, I’ve been immersed in enhancing AWS Knowledge Center content including publishing/updating two ECS troubleshooting articles and publish two Youtube videos for ECS/EKS configuration/troubleshooting, acquiring Amazon ECS Subject Matter Expertise (SME), and advancing towards a promotion to Cloud Support Engineer II (see article: A Look Back and the Road Ahead). I’ve also obtained a new certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

Outside of work, I am a PADI-certified Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air Nitrox diver who has explored the underwater wonders in Taiwan. I was able to reach the summit of Jade Mountain in Taiwan. I also like to dance (Locking style) and enjoy party dance.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

嗨！我叫袁士庭。我喜歡簡化我的生活，但我也總是把事情複雜化。我對於發現新事物和參與深入的討論充滿熱情，喜歡與其他人分享和討論。

我目前在愛爾蘭 AWS 擔任雲端支援工程師。我專注在 Linux、網路和容器服務方面為我們的客戶提供幫助。我對設定、性能和意外問題進行故障排除，客戶一起成長。

除了日常的案例處理外，我為 AWS 知識中心撰寫和更新了兩篇關於 Amazon ECS 故障排除的文章，也拍攝兩個 Youtube 影片分享了關於 Amazon ECS/EKS 的設定以及故障排除。我獲得 Amazon 的 ECS SME 以及升遷至 雲端支援工程師 II(見文章: A Look Back and the Road Ahead)。我也獲得 AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional 的專業證照。

工作之餘，我是 PADI 進階開放水域 (AOW) 和高氧空氣 (ENA) 的認證潛水員。我曾在台灣潛水。我曾攻頂臺灣玉山。我也喜歡跳舞(Locking style)，享受派對舞。

我是耶穌基督後期聖徒教會的成員。
